Updated Lew Electric PUR Pop Up Outlets
Lew Electric’s flagship PUR series in their kitchen pop up outlet line has been upgraded for 2024. The biggest news is it meets the latest 2023 NEC code 406.5e for installation in kitchen countertops.
The most substantial change is the new appearance of the top cover, it is now the smallest 2023 code compliant pop up on the market, taking up the least amount of countertop space. The top diameter has decreased from 4.88” to 3.98”, while the thickness has decreased as well. The previous top was .48” thick, while the new metal top is .058” and the plastic top is .1” thick.
The pop up will blend in with the countertop creating an invisible look while still providing all the function and more that the previous model offered. Lew Electric didn’t just stop with appearance and has a host of other improvements.
Other enhancements include:
-Hardwired to meet 2023 NEC codes.
-Smaller locking ring allows closer proximity to cabinets and walls.
-Bluetooth speaker option including stereo mode when 2 are paired together.
-340 degree rotation allows the user to get the outlet where it is needed most.
-30 watt USB-C charging on models with USB charging.
-The tops are easily replaceable if you ever want to change colors.
